Cardiac Rehab Foundation is a pioneering non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming heart health in India. Established in 2022, it is India’s first advanced Cardiac Rehab centre, offering physician-supervised, exercise-based rehabilitation for heart attack survivors and heart failure patients.
To prevent premature death among heart attack survivors by providing structured, physician-supervised cardiac rehabilitation.
To prevent young and early heart attacks in high-risk individuals through comprehensive prevention programs.
Cardiac Rehab Run is founded and led by Dr. Muralidar Babi — Cardiac Rehab Physician, MBBS (Kakatiya Medical College), MD (CMC Vellore). He is also the founder of Telangana Runners, and the only physician in India practising advanced, physician-supervised cardiac rehabilitation.
Heart attacks have become a public health emergency — not only globally, but even more severely in India. Cardiovascular disease kills more people than any other condition, and the steep rise in young and early heart attacks is the most alarming part. Despite advanced treatments like angioplasty and bypass surgery, recurrent heart attacks and premature deaths remain very common.
Cardiac Rehab is a WHO Class 1A recommended therapy, proven to reduce deaths, improve heart function and prevent repeat heart attacks. Globally it is underutilised. In India, it is practically zero — despite being life-saving.
A complete six-month cardiac rehab program for one patient in need — physician supervision, monitored exercise sessions, diet and lifestyle counselling, psychological support, risk-factor reversal and follow-up reviews.
Any contribution helps — from ₹5,000 to ₹50,000 or more — and goes directly towards patient rehabilitation and community screening.
Corporates can support patient sponsorships, medical equipment procurement, or community heart-health campaigns. We meet all CSR and compliance requirements.
